In early 2010 the UK experienced the effects of Iceland's volatile landscape when the volcanic plume caused ash to reach the airspace of the UK and mainland Europe. The lecture will further detail the interaction between volcanoes, ice and atmosphere. This free lecture is hosted by Channel Islands Group of Professional Engineers (CIGPE).
