Welcome for Leale's Yard from most on Bridge

THE Leale's Yard development will help regenerate the Bridge, according to some St Sampson's business proprietors.

Traders hope the new shops and homes development will encourage more people to go to the area and visit their own stores.

'This area badly needs regeneration and that part is an eyesore,' said Pound World Plus owner Nigel Staples.

'From the point of view of the regeneration of this area it will be a good thing, but if I had a Town business I would be concerned about a possible downturn in trade.'
