Another £50k to go and skatepark work can start

WORK could start on Guernsey's new skatepark at Beau Sejour next month.

PJ De La Mare, of the Guernsey Xtreme Sports Association, said if they could raise £150,000, work would to build the state of the art facility could begin.

The Environment Department has approved final plans by Gravity Engineering and £200,000 is needed to complete the project.

While Mr De La Mare said half of that had been secured in committed sponsorship, they wanted another £50,000 before starting building work.
