CCTV cameras have been installed at La Vallette to try to catch and deter vandals.

Adrian Locke, owner of Island View Kiosk, yesterday had four cameras installed around his property. He also reconnected a police camera which has been out of action for a month.

'Hopefully, the cameras will be a deterrent to the very few that spoil the area and hopefully the police will be more proactive in preventing crime in the area,' he said.
