FORTY new houses and flats will be built at the former Boys' Grammar School if Environment agrees to plans submitted by the Guernsey Housing Association.
The association yesterday confirmed it had finalised its proposals for the Brock Road site, which has for some time been earmarked for redevelopment into social housing.
It is part of the Education Department's plan to return some of its land to the States as the College of FE and central services relocate to the former St Peter Port School.
GHA chief executive Steve Williams (pictured) said the plans, if accepted, would result in 24 two- and three-bed houses and 16 one- and two-bed flats being built.
