ST MARTIN'S recovered from a shocking start last night to move to the top of the Priaulx League after an exhilarating 7-3 victory over Rangers.

The champions had to overcome a Josh McClean strike after just 14 seconds of last night's encounter at Blanche Pierre Lane, while they also fell behind at 2-1 thanks to a Dale Garland effort.

But a four-goal haul from the magnificent Marc McGrath helped secure three points, while Ollie Newey and Luke Winch also got on the scoresheet, as well as an Ollie Dowding own goal.

The win sees them a point clear of the rest, including second-placed North, who beat their neighbours Vale Rec 5-1 at Northfield.
