UNHAPPY residents have voiced their opinions about the new junction in Route Militaire and believe it will cause traffic problems.

The newly completed junction, which forms the entrance to the Guernsey Data Park, includes a set of traffic lights which will not be in use for another two years, but residents are not happy with the outcome so far.

'I think it is hideous. I am really not happy and think it will just make traffic worse – it is hard enough getting out of the drive anyway,' said Doyle Clos resident Jenny, who did not want to give her surname.

'We received a letter through our doors explaining there would be disruption but we were not given anything detailed – and I know a lot of the residents here are not happy.'
