A CRUISE ship berth at the harbour could bring a substantial amount of money into the island, the harbour master has said.
Captain Peter Gill said it was only sensible that the States looked at the potential economic benefits of a berth.
The States will discuss at next month's meeting whether to explore the topic further.
'It's a topic that comes up very regularly – whether we ought to be encouraging more cruise ships,' said Captain Gill.
'We need to understand if we are in that market or not.'
