DAMAGED cars, noise and anti-social behaviour have left some residents near Maurepas Road, St Peter Port, distressed and wanting to move house.

The most recent incident saw a number of vehicles damaged between 3pm on Tuesday and 7.30am on Wednesday.

It was the latest in a long line of disturbances in the area in which cars have had their tyres punctured, wing mirrors and windows smashed and objects have been thrown at houses.

Caroline Le Cras, 51, found that the van of her partner, Alan Vaudin, had been damaged on Tuesday.

She said it was the latest in a number incidents that had left her wanting to move house after three-and-a-half years.
