WALKERS are disgusted by the amount of rubbish that has been dumped in a St Sampson's green lane.

Fly-tippers have left items including a washing machine, television, toys and car parts in the lane, which is near the entrance to the Island Bowl and leads onto the Baubigny Schools pathway.

Carl Bisson, 44, uses the route regularly and said he was sick of seeing the mess left by fly-tippers.

'If I wanted to be surrounded by rubbish on my recreational walk I would go for a walk round the Chouet landfill.'
