GUERNSEY'S Cow Parade organiser Trevor Wakefield is disappointed that one of the entries has had its ear ripped off and body damaged by vandals.

Three males, including two 16-year-olds, have been arrested on suspicion of damage to the St Martin's-based animal, which happened around 1.25am on Saturday.

Police confirmed yesterday that they had all been granted bail pending further enquiries.

'It is extremely distressing and upsetting because I have received so many positive comments from the community saying how much they have enjoyed it this year and to have somebody damage it quite extensively is just disappointing,' said Mr Wakefield.
