New Year, new homes as Bouet phase two goes up

FOUNDATIONS are in place and walls are going up on the second phase of the Grand Bouet redevelopment.

Guernsey Housing Association development manager Phil Roussel said the £14m. project was on budget and on target.

He said there would be 80 homes: 60 of them a mix of two-bedroom bungalows, two-, three and four-bedroom houses and 20 single-bedroom flats.

Work began on phase two in May with site clearance.

'By Christmas they should be wind- and watertight,' Mr Roussel said.
