SPECIALIST abseilers will have to be used to clear up an 'appalling' case of fly tipping, St Peter's constables have said.
The incident at La Prevote car park on the cliffs was reported to the constables on Saturday morning.
It is believed that the rubbish was dumped there very recently.
Senior constable Steve Fell said it appeared that a small tipper truck was used to dump the rubbish over a low stone wall at the beauty spot and onto the sloping cliff below.
The matter has been reported to Guernsey Police.
