Strictly stars dance their way into hearts of local audience

STRICTLY Come Dancing stars Anton Du Beke and Erin Boag took to the floor to entertain a a packed audience at Beau Sejour on Saturday night.

The dancers from the popular BBC show, now in its 11th series, hosted an evening of music and dance directed by Jersey-based Christophe Chateau that included a variety of styles from Bollywood and Lindy Hop to jazz tap, as well as featuring local dance students from the Guernsey Academy of Theatrical Education.

The pair who, who have been dancing together for more than 16 years, said it was great to be back.

'Guernsey is a lovely place and it is always nice to be here,' Mr Du Beke said.

'It is a shame we are only here for one night but that's the nature of the beast unfortunately. Places that make an impression, like Guernsey, are places you go back to.'
