RECOMMENDATIONS made in a critical review into the way A&E is run are still being ignored, Health and Services critic Mike Hadley said yesterday.

He was speaking after the department gave a presentation to deputies about changes that had been made and possible future models for the service.

He said comments about improvements were 'waffle'.

But HSSD and the Primary Care Company, which is contracted to provide doctors for the Accident and Emergency Department, have denied that recommendations were being ignored.

'I was very disappointed,' said Deputy Hadley, pictured, a former HSSD board member.
