A BEAUTY spot has become an eyesore after fly-tippers dumped a roof's worth of felt.

The car park at Prevote Tower was used by the vandals over the weekend and St Peter's community support police officer Simon Hamon is keen for people to look at the photo to see if they can identify the felt.

'If anyone has had their roof repaired or replaced and recognises the felt, I would like them to get in contact. Not that they are in trouble, but presumably they paid to dump it. You would need a lorry to have dumped this amount, so it is either the roofers or someone they contracted.'

Distinctive brown timber can be seen within the felt, which he hopes someone will know came from their house.
