THIS YEAR'S Sark Folk Festival has been described as 'a real success' with £3,000 being raised for charity.

A total of 1,400 attended the three-day sell-out event over the weekend.

Organising committee member Jessica Nash, pictured, said the good weather had made the festival even better than previous years.

'It has gone fantastically well,' she said.

'It has been a real success and there are lots of happy, smiley and slightly sunburnt people around.'
