RENAMING Aurigny 'Guernsey Air' after 45 years of investing in the brand is not a priority, the States-owned airline has said.
CEO Mark Darby was responding to a campaign launched by Deputy Darren Duquemin to incorporate the word Guernsey in the airline's name.
A Guernsey Press online survey showed that, out of 207 people, 52% preferred Aurigny.
And a local marketing expert estimated it would cost about £200,000 to rebrand.
Mr Darby, pictured said that, with a number of important decisions on the horizon, considering a change was not a priority.
