Ship2me finds new base after Huelin-Renouf collapse

GOODS belonging to 23 Ship2me customers were stuck temporarily in Southampton when Huelin-Renouf went under at the beginning of last week.

And, as a result of the freight firm's liquidation, it has had to move its holding store from Southampton to Portsmouth.

The shipping service, part of the Jersey Post Group, relied on the failed shipping firm to transport goods from UK retailers that did not ship to the Channel Islands.

Jersey Post chief executive Kevin Keen said it had managed to get the stranded items to Jersey and they should arrive in Guernsey today, although larger items could take longer.
