FAMILIES have the chance to own Castle Cornet, Victor Hugo's House and even the Little Chapel now that Bailiwick of Guernsey Monopoly has gone on sale.

The game, featuring 22 Bailiwick landmarks, was officially launched yesterday by winningmoves.co.uk, which produced the game under licence from Hasbro.

A 5ft by 5ft replica of the board revealed Castle Cornet has taken the prestige site of Mayfair, with the home of renowned French writer Victor Hugo, Hauteville House, taking the second most expensive property on the board occupied on the original by Park Lane.

A competition earlier this year asked islanders to decide what should be included on the popular trading game board.

Publicist Graham Barnes said without the public there would be no board.
