CISX sued by its former chief executive

DEPARTED chief executive Tamara Menteshvili is suing the Channel Islands Stock Exchange, it has been confirmed.

Ms Menteshvili left the exchange in September in a move that caught many senior business figures off guard.

At the time no reason was given for her exit.

The chief executive said she wanted to pursue other interests and the board wished her well, although neither would provide further comment.

But a letter from the exchange chairman Jon Moulton revealed the board was aware of a claim by Ms Menteshvili.

Ms Menteshvili left shortly before it emerged that the CISX had been under investigation by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission for two years.
