Cautious welcome to revised plans for former brewery site
SOME Havelet residents have given cautious backing to revised plans for the former Guernsey Brewery site.

Having been unsure what was happening with the site, they are pleased with an indication that development will take place on the land, which has been cleared but left for months.
Local property developer Comprop announced yesterday that it had submitted revised plans for the redevelopment of the area at Havelet Bay.
These should be available to view from early next week at the Environment Department.
Demolition of the historic building started last September and was completed earlier this year.
