Organisers of the popular music event, which was held on Sunday, have to clean the site and return it to its original state by Thursday.

Around 20 volunteers turned up in the rain to make a start.

Vale Earth Fair Collective member Rob Roussel said some volunteers had stayed behind in the early hours of the morning to start packing away some of the electrical equipment.

'The whole event went really well,' he said.

'There was a lot of electrical stuff that needed to be packed away quickly.'
