Public Services has not yet ruled out roadworks charges
ROADWORK charging might have been dismissed by the Environment Department, but Public Services has yet to rule it out.

A day after Environment said it was too busy with the road transport strategy and put its plans, first mooted in 2013, on hold, Public Services said it was taking a different view.
While Environment's plans were to do with ensuring road closure lengths were as short as possible to minimise disruption, a Guernsey Roads spokesman said its proposals were about maintaining road quality. Feedback had been received from utilities and discussions were ongoing.
