Floral St Peter Port wins gold at Britain in Bloom
FLORAL St Peter Port co-ordinator Katina Jones burst into tears of happiness as it was announced that the parish had won its category in the national Britain in Bloom competition last night.

Town was up against coastal settlements with more than 12,000 people from all over the UK.
Ms Jones said it was amazing to have achieved gold and won the class.
'We are just absolutely delighted,' she said.
'I just burst into tears – it was so lovely.'
She had travelled to the UK to hear the announcement, along with a group of floral members.
'They have bigger communities, but we got the gold.'
