Lewis Evans,17, had been visiting family in the UK when he was found dead in a property in Manchester on 1 October.

His father Karl, 43, who is still waiting to find out how his son died, said he had been expecting him home that evening.

'My own brother committed suicide when I was 21 and I know what he will be going through.'

He added the reality of the situation had not set in for him yet.

'I'm blanking it out at the moment. His old trainers are there by the front door, his room is exactly the same as it was when he left,' he said.

'I'm still expecting him to walk through the door at any minute.

'It won't be until I see him for myself that it will all sink in.'
