Alderney flights warning

AURIGNY has warned that passengers, bags or freight may have to be offloaded from Alderney flights because of fuel restrictions in the island.

Published

There will be no fuel available for the aircraft in Alderney until Alderney Electric's new bowser arrives on 22 December.

It means having to fill up with enough fuel in Guernsey to fly to the island and onwards – but bad weather may mean a plane needs more fuel which would reduce the payload it is able to carry.
