Sails is holding a closing down sale ahead of shutting its doors on Le Pollet some time this week.

'It's coming to the end of the lease which we are not renewing,' said director Malcolm Scott.

'We'll still have the shop on the Bridge.'

Shoppers making the most of the sale on Saturday expressed sadness at seeing the shop go.

'It's a shame it's moving out of Town.

'Town is dying,' said Terry Crowther, 63, pictured.

'I like coming to Town but there are less and less shops all the time.

'On the Bridge it's nearly all charity shops.'
