Old and current craft in Lib Day aerial display

HISTORIC and contemporary aircraft will take to the skies on Liberation Day to mark the 70th anniversary of the island's freedom.

The aerial display will take place in the afternoon as the Army, the Royal Navy, the Royal Air Force and civilians join together to show their skills.

The showcase will see the RN Sea King MK4, a Merlin MK3, Dakota ZA947, Spitfire, Hurricane, T28 Fenne, and The Flying Tigers doing a parachute drop into Havelet Bay.
