Blackmailer who attacked victim jailed for two years
AFTER accusing Garry Weale of 'messing up his life', David King demanded £20,000 from him so that he could leave the island.

Then he attacked him, terrifying Mr Weale – but that was not the end of the matter.
Two months later, while on holiday in France, Mr Weale suffered an epileptic fit which a neurosurgeon said was a direct result of the assault.
Appearing in the Royal Court, King, 30 (pictured), who made a complaint to police against Mr Weale for an incident in 2008 which officers could not substantiate, admitted trying to blackmail him and was jailed for two years.
