CT Plus has been holding a number of drop-ins at locations around the island to give service users a chance to exchange their Ormer cards for ticket books ahead of the cards being withdrawn from use on 18 July.

The new machines, which will use a different travel smart card, will lead to the introduction of live bus tracking, so that passengers can see how far a bus is from their stop.

Yesterday saw an opportunity for those attending the WI market at the Vale Douzaine room and those dropping into St Martin's Douzaine Room to hand in their old cards.
