Under the draft island development plan, three spaces in the north of the island have been earmarked for housing development, including a site that borders Rue des Pointues Rocques, Rue des Monts and Robergerie Road.

A petition signed by the residents was handed to Environment yesterday on the last day that further representations could be made.

It calls for the smallest of the proposed housing allocation sites to be removed from the plan.
