Belle Greve work on waste water enters the final stages

GUERNSEY Water's final phase of its £35m. waste water facilities upgrade should be finished by the end of this month.

Both the new long and short sea outfall pipes have been floated into their final positions and connected to the onshore pipes as they exit from the new chamber constructed close to the Red Lion slipway.

And The final stages of work will take place over the next couple of weeks.

The outfall replacement is the final phase of a £35m. upgrade, which also includes a new preliminary treatment plant at Belle Greve.
