G-XTOR was converted back to an Islander aircraft for the movie, which will be released on 26 October.

Cinema-goers will see it on the big screen going out in a blaze of glory, gliding down a snowy mountain in Austria.

The plane flew as a Trislander between Guernsey, Alderney, Jersey and Southampton for more than 30 years before being withdrawn from service.
