Disability Alliance commended for its work at national event
NATIONAL recognition has been given to the work of the Guernsey Disability Alliance for its efforts to push forward Guernsey's Disability and Inclusion Strategy.

The GDA was runner-up in the Championing Change category in the Lloyds Bank Foundation Charity Achievement Awards which were held at the bank's headquarters at Cornhill, London.
It was one of six Channel Island regional winners invited to compete on a national scale against charities from across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
There were 12 nominees in each category and Guernsey Disability Alliance was runner-up in its category of 'Championing Change' and won an additional £1,000.
