Twelve church ministers are against same-sex marriage

MINISTERS from 12 Guernsey churches have written to deputies urging them to vote 'no' to same-sex marriage.

Deputies debate the issue on 8 December.

The letter said marriage between a man and a woman was 'the bedrock of society and is the most stable environment for raising children'.

The 12 Ministers who have signed the letter are: Pastor Tim Berry – La Villiaze Evangelical Congregational Church; Les Davies – King's Barn Mission; Pastor Jonathan Findlay – Zion Christian Fellowship; Douglas Guilbert – Emmanuel Evangelical Baptist Church; Don Le Flock – Full Gospel Mission; Alan Le Page – Fort Christian Centre; Brian Le Prevost – Cobo Mission Hall; Pastor Mick Leggett – Eldad Elim Church; Pastor Graham Miller – Bethesda Strict Baptist Church; Rev. Steve Mudge – Vazon Elim Church; Pastor John Ogier – Spurgeon's Baptist Church; Pastor John Roddis – Delancey Elim Church.
