She was damaged while moored in Poole yesterday.

The company has apologised and blamed a technical problem after cancelling sailings on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th January.

Its call centre is open until 5pm today and tomorrow from 12noon to help passengers.

Earlier today Condor said that Saturday's sailing was under review due to forecasted weather.

Specialist welders and other contractors were on site this morning working with Condor's engineering teams to make a comprehensive assessment of the repair work needed.

Freight services provided by the conventional ferries, Commodore Goodwill and Commodore Clipper continue to operate. However, they are delayed due to the weather conditions in the Channel where wave heights are reaching six metres.
