Both Guernsey Water and La Grande Mare Hotel owner Simon Vermeulen said despite the failure of the Vazon pumping station, any pollution had not been widespread enough to cause damage.
Mr Vermeulen said an inspection had been carried out and no evidence of widespread or harmful pollution had been discovered.
'There is very minimal damage to the eco-structure. Normally if there had been damage we would find dead fish and dead ducks, but thankfully there was none of that.
'The high rainfall and high tide helped as well, as it became tide-locked and was then washed out.'
