Look out for Lonely Bouquets

ISLANDERS could be stumbling across floral treasures next month as the Guernsey Flower Arrangement Society joins in with the Lonely Bouquet campaign.

The campaign, organised by the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies, sees members abandon flower arrangements in a variety of public places in an effort to spread goodwill and happiness.

Those who come across them are free to take them home for their own enjoyment.

National Flower Arranging Day is on 6 May, which is when the Guernsey Flower Arrangement Society members will be leaving their work out for the taking.

Honorary chairwoman Michaela Guilmoto said she hoped the Lonely Bouquet campaign would brighten up the day for many islanders.
