Bowel cancer screening programme halted
GUERNSEY'S bowel cancer screening programme has been halted due to a 'lack of capacity'.

Health & Social Care said it had written to all the men and women it had invited to take part in the programme, to inform them that appointments could not be held at this time.
The committee has sought to assure islanders that it continues to have room for patients referred to their hospital by GPs with possible bowel cancer symptoms and any emergency cases.
