P&R calls on Condor and Aurigny for talks

CONDOR and Aurigny have been summoned to attend upcoming Policy & Resources meetings as travel chaos continues to plague islanders and visitors.

Committee member Jonathan Le Tocq confirmed both had been invited to speak with members.

The reasons for which are a planned strategic review into the airline and the need for a meeting with Condor to be brought forward in light of disruption to its services this week.

'Aurigny's chief executive and chairman will be attending the next Policy & Resources meeting on 15 August, at the invitation of the committee,' said a P&R spokesman.

'This will be to discuss the Policy & Resources Committee's strategic review of Aurigny as well as to understand the steps that Aurigny will be taking to further improve services.

'Condor's chief executive will be attending the Policy & Resources meeting on 22 August, at the invitation of the committee.

'This will be to receive an update on the ongoing comprehensive service review.

'It will also give members the opportunity to discuss the work that Condor will be taking to further improve services.'
