An adaptation of the Arthur Ransome novel, the story about the Walker children's holiday adventures and fights against the Blackett sisters, has been transformed for the cinema and features, among others, Rafe Spall.

However, for Guernsey Woollens joint owner Phil Walker the real stars are three jumpers made especially for the main characters which appear in the trailer and posters for the film.

'We got a phone call in the middle to end of last year from a lady in Manchester, who was a costumer for the film,' said Mr Walker.

'We said yes we would do it, we were given the sizes and ended up making six of them in the end.'
