Horseshoe pool repairs are 'heading in the right direction'
EXTENSIVE repairs to the battered horseshoe pool at La Vallette are progressing well after it was forced to close following substantial storm damage two years ago.

The repairs to the pool, as well as the gents' pool, form part of the community restoration project.
Andrew Pouteaux, a member of the Legacy Team, said completing the work was the group's main objective for the summer.
'The project is proceeding well. It is not going as fast as we would like it to, but it is very much heading in the right direction.
'In due course, hopefully by the winter, we can return a well-built and restored pool.
'The plan will then be to turn our focus towards the gents' pool and finding a solution before we start the work.'
