Last cruise ship of island's 'most successful season'

AS THE last cruise ship of the season docked in Guernsey yesterday, latest statistics revealed the island had its most successful year to date.

The 290ft-long MV Corinthian moored alongside the new jetty just after 7.30am, carrying around 100 passengers.

It now means Guernsey has welcomed a total of 132,855 visitors off the ships and onto the island in this year 2016 – surpassing last year's figure by 8%.
