It handled 42m. pieces of mail in 2015, a 5% drop on the previous year.

'Total outward mail was down 6% on the previous year, for which outward bulk volumes saw a 4% year-on-year decline, primarily due to the loss of two major bulk mailing companies, who have relocated their fulfilment operations to the UK during the period,' the report stated.

'The loss of these customers has had a material impact on Guernsey Post Ltd's revenue performance for the year ended 31st March 2016.'
