Water wheel will soon be turning again

A RARE water wheel will soon be turning again after undergoing restoration.

The wheel, 18ft in diameter, is on the side of Martin Le Boutillier's Castel house.

It is hoped that with the materials used in the new wheel, it will last for years to come.

Working with his son, Ian, and contractors, they have been restoring the wheel and Mr Le Boutillier has worked on the project with his son, Ian, and contractors.

Since they decided to do the It has taken about 15 months to do and the project is nearly finished.

Remaining work involves repairs to the stream course.

The last time the wheel was turning was 10 years ago.
