Guernsey Police represented at funeral of PC Keith Palmer

GUERNSEY POLICE is today joining thousands of forces across the UK to honour and pay tribute to PC Keith Palmer who was killed during the Westminster terror attack last month.

Acting Deputy Chief Officer Ruari Hardy is representing Guernsey Police at the full force funeral at Southwark Cathedral.

The flag at the station is also being flown at half-mast to coincide with the funeral.

PC Palmer, 48, who was married with a five-year-old daughter, was guarding the Houses of Parliament on 22 March when he was stabbed by Khalid Masood.

Guernsey Police said: 'Our thoughts and prayers remain with the families of all of those who were killed or injured at the time.'
