The Beau Sejour Concourse, which has previously been home to the stage kitchen, will feature the States-owned utility showing off its services.

It will also have free entry, with people only having to pay to enter the additional halls of the show.

Alongside a display of its massive range of home appliances, from the latest TVs to the best washing machines, GE staff will be giving presentations and advice on the benefits of making the switch to electric heating and the other various services the company offers.

An electric car will be on show as well, with information to explain the savings that can be made running this type of vehicle.

Retail manager Malcolm Woodhams said that Guernsey Electricity was very excited about its displays.

'The show is really exciting and the ideal opportunity to show everybody the many strands of Guernsey Electricity,' he said.

'Although the shop will be part of our stand, there will also be energy advice with electricians, and talks about electric heating.'
