RYAN-ZICO BLACK is becoming something of a celebrity across the Atlantic and is set to appear on national Brazilian television.

The 30-year-old Guernsey FC midfielder and former professional player was named after the legendary Brazilian playmaker Zico, who played in three World Cups and scored 52 international goals in 72 caps.

And as a result, he was contacted by journalist Francisco Trigo from Globo TV Sports, the biggest sports broadcast network in the country, to film him training, coaching and his everyday life.

Trigo and the film crew will arrive in the island tomorrow, before getting footage of Black coaching in the GFC soccer school and the team’s weekly training session.
