More combinations putting themselves to the test

EVEN more horse-and-rider combinations took to the Chemin Le Roi showground at the latest Guernsey Dressage Group competition to perform their chosen tests in front of two UK judges - Robert Stanier and John Robinson.

The first day began once again with the first preliminary tests of the weekend in which Kate Lawson with Heffo Golden Boy achieved one of the first winning scores of the day with 69.31% in the restricted section.

Catherine Best with Blizzard achieved the winning score of 66.96% in the open section while Megan Lane riding Morwyn Pandora Maid gained first place with 70% in the under-12 section.

The two novice classes of the day saw wins for both Laura Miller and Lucelli and also Jenny Rowlinson who, along with Drumhowen Rolex, attained first place in the novice open section of each class with good scores of 64.84% and 62.69% consecutively.
